It's like a wedding. You know when it started, you know when it ended and you have a few flashes of what happened in between. Well, Miles happened to us. Here's a recap:
- It was an uneventful Labor & Delivery (as far as Dad is concerned anyway) then Miles is born.
- Mom is very happy and dad has never been more gay.
- He comes home, we change diapers.
- He pees and poops on us, we change diapers faster.
- He starts to smile, Mom loves it.
- He starts sleeping and eating on a schedule.
- He gains a little weight and starts going through clothes.
- He stops eating and sleeping on a schedule
- He starts eating and sleeping on a schedule
- He starts cooing (which means waaay more drooling)
- Mom goes back to work (sad times)
- He stops eating on a schedule
- We get peed on again (mental note, use the right size diapers)
- He finds his feet and loves eating his hands. (sometimes both at the same time)
- He learns to grab and play with his toys
- He mistakes hair for toys (ouch)
- He gets vaccine shots, he hates Mom and Dad.
- He get some of the sweet milk, he loves Mom and Dad again (it doesn't take that much).
Miles turned 5 months old on Thanksgiving day. Through the first 5 months of his life, he has given us his approval and suggests we keep up the good work.
Ok, most of those things are normal and they all kind of just happened. Not sure what happened first, but whatever -- I'm tired. We're now 20 weeks since our last post. Wow. Here he is today:

Well, it was worth the wait. He is undeniably the cutest little boy! The picture in the argyle sweater vest...awwwwww.

He is adorable! Maggie has dibs on him as her future boyfriend :-) Oh, wait, we're never gonna let Maggie date so that won't work. Hope to see y'all soon.

I am just gonna say that you need to put sunglasses on Miles or you may have trouble. It is really hard to just get through life, but try looking like Miles and myself. It just gives you another set of problems that make it difficult to deal with on a day-to-day basis.
Oh and let the hair go. It is the first rule of parenthood. When the kids have time to reflect on childhood pictures you have to make it look like you were so busy you didn't have time to cut the hair.
Sleep and free time is overrated. Your job is to stay functionally awake and capture e'very possible moment on some type of medium.
What a well manicured looking thumb in the final picture.
Awwww. How Adorable, he already looks like dad and mom. You did good! Congratulations. Future Wolf with the ladies in training I am sure. You all make such a cute family. Thank you so much for sharing. He sure is a cutie!!!
